I caught 1 striper 22" lost 1 at the bank and had 1 break me off in a log jam. most were caught on a 3' chartruse curl tail jig and a clown colored rattling rouge. the striper were running the trout up on the bank for a while. dave

Just got back yesterday from wolf creek dam. My bud and I caught a variety pack walleye, sauger, drum, crappie, brown trout, rainbow trout, catfish and green sunfish ,which I caught on the snell part of a already hooked fish. Alot of larger trout were being caught early in the mouring in hatchery steam. The hatchery had release a bunch of larger trout for a group of senior and handicap kids to catch. The river looked good ,wish we had brought a boat.
Good luck
Is there a motor restriction there?
Bass any good?
there is not a restriction on the river but it very shallow with only one sluice gate open. some spots are 10" deep so you have to watch your lower unit. the bass fishing is not good but an occtional one will be caught.
