Nothing like the feel of frozen fingers to bring you back to reality. Had hard time today bass wouldn't even sniff buzz bait. Lots of short strikes caught 6 fish maybe one keeper on crank bait. To windy for me to work rubber worm. Whoever that a##hole was that pulled up to me and asked "what area this was" thanks for swamping me! Just hammered down on that big motor not more than 10' from me. Some people just ain't got it.
Sorry about that, I thought you needed a bath. J/K. I was at the mouth of Conoloway for about 45 minutes first thing on Saturday, I found fished bunched up around brush piles, but most of them were not big enough to keep. Caught one close to 2 lbs and one that was 1 1/4 lbs. Mostly on shakey head. Steep banks with chunk rock were productive for dinks. I "heard" that craw imitators (jigs) were producing bigger bites, but not much bigger. We had a little family style tourney and big fish was 2 3/4 lbs.
Re: Conoloway tough today
Fished Sat morning from 8-11am and didn't get bit in Conoloway on a crankbait but was able to catch a couple of shorts on a t-rigged Rodent before the wind just got to be too much. Moved up lake near Ponderosa and started throwing a Paca Craw and wore out the 14 inchers. Caught around 15 in an hour before had to quit and head home. Almost all caugh swimming or falling it off a drop on a point. They sure did whack it when they ate it. No keepers, but fun for a little bit anyway.
Re: Conoloway tough today
