wish they would post it so i could take off. I heard that it was nov 12. But if that is so i will be deer hunting.

where did u get your info?

If it is on the 11th and 12th . that is fri and sat.

The one year I fished it, and swore I'd never do that again, it was on a Friday and Saturday.

Free dinner/meeting was on Thurs. night.

REALLY DANG GOOD!

When I fished it out of KY Dam in '05 as a non-boater, I didn't enjoy it at all. My partner for the second day skipped town and I got stuck fishing 3 out of the same boat...there were several others that had to do that too as their partners skipped town as well. FLW was supposed to investigate those that skipped town to see if they had a valid reason - if their reason was not valid they were supposed to be suspended, but I never heard of anyone getting suspended. I think FLW was just trying to use the fear factor to get guys to stick around for day 2.

Boaters in the wild card are ones that didn't make it to regional, so you're chances of drawing out an amateur boat driver unfamiliar with the lake or buoy navigation is quite high....that's why I decided to never mess with the Wild Card again....too much frustration and the odds are highly against you since you're trying to secure a top 6 spot out of 200+
