Looks like the Big East might be a thing of the past once again in the Top 25..... Pitt., was the last team to join the Top 25 after besting a supposedly good SFU team. Now Pitt gets beat by Rutgers like a drum and now it'll most likely be Pitt fallin from the Top 25.
But wait, Rutgers might jump into the Top 25..nah doubt if that will happen..since they did lose to unranked UNC by 2 points....
Dang is there a team worthy of goin to the free BCS Bowl game just for winning the Big East Conference....Another mediocre team from the Big East will be the representative at the Orange Bowl again this year it seems. Sponsor's aren't going to like having mediocre teams playing in the Orange Bowl, gonna cut down on profits of selling air time to sponsor's of the Bowl game...Cause football fans aren't gonna want to watch Mid Major schools playing against the ACC Conference winner 2 years in a roll...
Now of course if the Orange Bowl is THE only game on tv for that day, the fans might just watch for the sake of watching, just to keep that College Football action and addiction to College Football period intact.
Big 12 is watching big time, is there gonna be a team worthy of joining the Big 12 from the Big East if Mizzou jumps ship....At the present time it sure don't look like any real Big East Team is worthy of a spot to join...But by season's end a team might just make a run and show that maybe, just maybe a team is deserving of a chance...
Also heard that a full page ad was taken out basically begging Mizzou not to leave the Big 12 in thier local paper...So maybe their won't be a spot open up afterall...Not unless the Big 12 expands back to 12 teams again....
