Re: Trout
There are several streams where Fish and Wildlife stock trout. Look on their website or in the Fishing Guide for information.

Re: Trout
I don't do a lot of trout fishing but, I've caught some trout in the Dix River & in the Licking below the dam at Cave Run. There is a guide called Dix River Adventures that's really good-
Fish & Wildlife's FINs lakes stock trout too- check out their website & you'll get some good ideas that are a lot closer than Arkansas.
There should be some more trout enthusiasts on here that can help you out

Re: Trout
BFB, I don't do too much trout fishing either, but I've caught trout at otter creek, and some of the FINS lakes locally. Go to KDFWR's website for the FINS lake info.

Re: Trout
Lots of great trout streams here in Kentucky, but the only place I've caught large trout is below Wolf Creek dam at Cumberland.
Pulled my first brookie outta there a couple weeks ago too.

Re: Trout
Ditto on the CR, although it doesn't seem to be fishing like it was a few years back. Rock Creek is good for small trout. Dix is fair. In Tennessee, there's the Clinch, which I hear can be really good. I also hear good things about Caney Fork, which I hope to fish one day.
There are also some excellent trout streams in West Virginia.....

Re: Trout
FiNS Lakes are great fun, and the trout are a nice eatin' size, but I wouldn't call it true "trout fishing." After all, they're in a lake, a pond really, not at all their natural environment. They're supposed to stock Miles, Fisherman's, and Tom Wallace on Tuesday, 10/18.
