Never heard of this rig. Interesting.
Won't be long before each and every state has a rig named after it! ;)

looks alot like a umbrella rig to me
soon to be outlawed in all tournaments:D
Looks a little "hokey" to me. Maybe they can get, O what's his name, you know, Oh now I yes; Bill Dance to market it for them......:p
Hey Flylie, don't leave out Roland Martin,. He introduced us to the Helicopter Lure. And yes, I admit it, I have one but only one.
this will be replacing the dancing eels in my tackle box shortly...just don't hate on the banjo minnows, those things will flat smoke em in a pond

Alabama doesn't need a bass fishing rig named after it, Alabama is bass fishing.

The Alabama rig can be trolled with but it is designed to be cast and cranked.;)
I've actually seen one and the difference between a standard umbrella and this is the wires are like spinnerbait wires, and they say the whole rig before baits is like 3/16th oz. I was fishing a tourney on Pickwick and a guy pulls up next to me and casts out and caught a fish on the first cast! After seeing that I came home and have been watching videos of it on youtube and found it very intriguing so thought I'd pass along....
