Looks like Big 12 passes up UL

Evidently even Mitch McConnell couldn't sway Big 12 leaders from taking UL ahead of West Virginia University in the latest round of conference realignment.

I really can't see teams like BYU,Boise State,Army,or Air Force come to the Big East knowing full well that Louisville,UConn,Rutgers,and UC would jump ship in a heartbeat if offered.
Also seems to me that Pitino must have something over on Tom Jurich who is like Nero playing the violin while Rome burns.

Not worried yet. In two years I will be. But a lot can happen by then. I am glade we are getting a new chief of police.

Don't think UL would have joined the Big 12 if offered. Loyalty is what they been saying to the Big east. Lead by example.

Not sure if it's true yet or not..But from the looks of some of the U of L forum boards...Looks like Tom Jurich turned down the invite to the Big 12... Seems like Ricky Pitino might actually be calling the shots over at U of L now a days.....

What does Pitino have over Tom Jurich to keep U of L from accepting the invite from the Big 12...Only time will tell......

Not true. Not even close to being true. I don't know where you get your info from, but that is almost laughable.

Hey I'm just passing on info from (Your) U of L Forum boards that i have been reading about on the story. Not pulling bs outta my bottom as you U of L fans keep suggesting I do....

Laughable at how a lot of U of L fans are ready to Lynch Tom Jurich over this non Big 12 invite......

Actually Jurich wanted to join the Big 12,Pitino is the one who is outspoken against it knowing he would be eating at Italian restaurants in Lawrence,Ks instead of Philly and Connecticut.
Problem is the Big 12 itself only took West Virginia and didn't want UL.If I were a UL fan I'd be questioning Pitino's power over the University and Media.
It will be a pretty stupid non-move if the Big East loses it's BCS bid.
I actually feel sorry for UL Fans,now they have lost their best recruit Wayne Blackshear for the year do to another Pitino Practice injury,seems to be a regular thing for the Pitino ran Cards.

Some of you UL haters talk like your retarded. I know, it isn't possible to get hurt in practice at any other university. Why do people even practice, they should just do film study everyday and then go play in the games. Oh wait I see where your from, that explains a lot.

Today at the game I talked to someone who should know and he said that Jurich was not happy with the financial aqrrangements, especially the entrance fee the Big 12 wanted them to pay, that is why WVU is in and not Louisville. Btw, it makes no difference what Pitino wants, Jurich is going to do whats best for the Unioversity and the Athletic Department. He has bosses to answer to, but none of them are named Pitino!

Your a UL Fan,tell me how many practice injuries have happened and affected the past several seasons?I find it to be an unusually large number.
