My second best muskie

I caught this 46 incher out of Barren River this afternoon. She had an 18.75 inch girth.

She had me all torn up on Sunday afternoon when she came after a top water bait and splashed in the river water like an outboard. I was able to go back after her today and landed her not long before dark. She put up a heck of a fight.

The trouble is, I think my new landing net is almost too big for one person to handle. I didn't think I was ever going to get her into it.

It is a super nice Musky, but for anywhere, not just KY. Kentucky grows some monster ski's. The State Record is 54", and Cave Run supports many fish over 50". Not as many as the Northern States but just as big! Sweet Ski!

Using a musky formula and just from the looks, I'd estimate it at around 21 pounds give or take a pound.
