Ky Lake Question
I was fishing Rhodes Bay last evening. On the flat in about 6-8 feet of water, I saw a big blow up on the surface. It was the size of a football field. It happened all at once, and was over in a split second. This happened a number of times. I've been fishing this lake for years and have never seen this happen before. I can't see how a school of fish that large would all react at the same time, and stop at the same time, and last for one or two seconds.

Re: Ky Lake Question
I was down there a couple of weeks ago and the same thing happened, I chased after them and found out it was a bunch of Gar. It was still amazing to watch, it is like they are on a clock or something.

Re: Ky Lake Question
Thanks Geo! I heard they had some in the lake. What I saw was a lot of fish. What does the future hold for the lake concerning bass, crappie, catfish, blue gills?

I also saw several packs of large fish, 6-8, roaming around the surface. They weren't gar.

Asian Carp. I swear I'm going to put my pole down and pick up a bow and arrow with a line.
