Fishing this Friday thru Sunday for stripers. Does anyone know where they located ? How is the water clarity? We will be launching out of Jamestown.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and will post results when we return.

Right now the water is horrible, it is very dirty and no clarity at all. If there is no rain all week it may be cleared up enough but its going to be pushing it. Normally takes closer to 2 weeks to clear up when this dirty, it supposed to rain today and tomorrow but nothing yet.
I would check clarity before bothering fishing for stripers, when its dirty they are gone.
fished 76 falls sat. lots of shad , water was clear , caught stripers by accident fishing a shad rap for bass , water temp was 53 to 58 , good luck.
We were mainly going to concentrate on Greasey and maybe Indian(based upon what smallJaw said). Hopefully, being in the lower end of the lake, it will be clearer.
I live just up the hill from Jamestown Marina and as of now the water is up but fairly clear real good main lake. Greasy Creek is has some color but not muddy water temp Sat. was 55 -57 balls of bait fish are back in the creek Sat. they were runing about 35 to 40 feet deep been catching some stripers while bass fishing in about 20 to 35FT of water . Hope this help's. Don
