But I'm dragging my arse out of the rack and going huntin....Later....
I will be the little domestic housewife today and tomorrow....no shopping for me; I'm too stressed to attempt it.
My husband was injured at work (in Georgia) last Monday and will be arriving home tomorrow. We will be going to a Neurosurgeon in Birmingham, next week for MRIs on his badly injured head, neck, and knee and they will make a decision after that.
I don't think there is going to be any Christmas celebrations for us this year. I'm just going to focus my time on loving and caring for him until he gets well.
I have been so upset I feel like a horse has kicked the breath out of me.
I hope you kill that big buck that every hunter dreams about.
Sorry to hear about you hubby,Bug. Prayers that things are not going to be to serious.
Sorry to hear about this. Hope things work out for you and your sweetie pie. Those injuries sound serious.
Went bowhunting this morning at Taylorsville. Not much happening, saw two does. Not sure if tyhe moon had anything to do with that or not. Going to back Sunday afternoon and give it another shot. It was 26 degrees when I hit the woods this morning.
Bug, sorry to hear about your husband, hope everything works out for him.
Billy have fun being outdoors in the fresh air but please dont kill Bambi and Thumper.:o
Bugsy, how horrible. I am so sorry to hear about your hubbys injuries. Did he have a bad fall or did some machinery crash into him? Poor dear man. He will needs lots of physiotherapy as the neck and knees are so sensitive spots.good to run lots of tests on the head. He will be in bed for awhile. Prayers sent for his recovery. Hope you have some good doctors down there. Take care and God Bless.

Thanks for your kind words. I don't think physical therapy is going to help until much later. He will be having MRIs to see how much damage has been done and what type of surgery he will need. He has already had a ton of x-rays made which, imo, is a waste of money. They don't show as much detail as MRIs. We have some very good neurosurgeons and sports doctors within 100 miles of home. There are some closer but they are with a group that I don't have a lot of confidence in.

I was out walking in the yard early this morning and saw deer tracks down the entire length of my back porch. Now I know why my pups kept barking and running back and forth to my bedroom. They were watching the deer out the windows and wanted to go out with them. Every time they see one when they are outside, they run to it. My big 6.02 pound dogs wanted to go deer hunting. lol
Really sorry to hear of this accident. Hope things work out for a full recovery.
