Dale Hollow 12-11-11
Had my best day ever fishing on Dale, granted I've only fished it 6 or 8 times....We wound up with 29 today, 24 smallmouth and 5 largemouth...We had probably 18 of the smallmouth that were 18" or bigger, and 2 of the largemouth were 5lbs and another was close to 4lbs...Had 2 or 3 smallies that were probably overs and I had a really good one, probably 23" or so, come off at the boat...I think we wound up with 3 or 4 doubles....I'd say we took another 15 runs that we didn't land...We were fishing live bait...Pictures will be posted on the photo board tommorow

Thanks Rick...we literally caught fish on every spot we pulled up on today...Most of our fish were caught on points around state dock/illwill/trooper island....Typically had the boat sitting in 25-30ft throwing toward the bank....Even saw a couple of your pets early this morning Rick

Awesome! That's more fish than I usually catch an entire winter.
I hope they are still biting like that this coming weekend, although when I'm on Dale the fish tend to get lockjaw.....for me and everyone else on the lake.

Cool. I may do that. We're going out of Holly, so it's not too far to the KY side.
