Wk/end at Dale.

Setting up on spots that have held fish all winter for me. I fished deep both days w/shad.
The facts on these places isnt you can go there anytime an catch fish, not so.
These places are places at some time during the day, the bite is on.Sun, started at noon had a good bite going imediately, setting up on a gravel bank falling into 35ft, all these fish came from the deepest part, tried floating a shad over the top of where i boated 4-5 fish ...nothing, these pics are sat/sun, temp 50

Didn't see ya any this weekend Rick.....I was there Saturday and Sunday...had a big ol largemouth yesterday...she was right at the 7lb mark

Most of my big fish seem to come off the bigger sucker minnows...I honestly don't think it matters as long as the size is right and you put it down there in front of them and are confident when you put it out there
