Bank fishing

So yesterday I caught a limit of small mouth on the main lake in Ky lake. When I was heading back to the ramp my boat started acting up and I dropped it off at a local boat shop. Because of the holiday it's going to be a while to get my boat back. Any recommendations for bass fishing spots on the shore to hold me over?

Cheap way to get back on the water. I have a Hobie Pro Angler, but this is a great deal for a less than $600.

Kayaking in December... I think I'm too old to brave that cold water.
