Talk about bringing in the new year with a bang.
Unless Iran moves to block commerce from a country other than it's own we have no business carrying out military actions against it... We should not launch military action against any country simply because we don't like them, Shooting a dog just because it is barking at us is not who we should be.

I would never propose doing something without provocation.........BUT I believe the link provides ample reasons.
Also, I believe the very FACT that they now possess the ability to create a nuclear weapon is ample reason. They already have threatened the west and their neighbors.
WHEN will it be OK...........Tel Aviv in ruins due to a NUKE? Times Square gone due to a NUKE? The Pentagon, or Whitehouse, or Congress gone....due to a Nuke?? WHEN. I personally think a proactive and PREEMPTIVE approach is the RIGHT approach.
BOMB their ass now........in 20 years, when they fully recover from the ass kicking.......BOMB them again.

here we go again, 10 years and 1.27 trillion dollars isn't enough.

Nope........
One thing our Government is supposed to do is PROTECT and DEFEND. I guess you miss that........
How much would the cost be if we allowed Iran to develop a nuclear weapon and USE IT.......Maybe they are posturing, like North Korea, but I doubt it.
Like I said before.....when will it be OK??
But, it was NICE hearing from you Ron Paul.

I hope we stay out of it, and bring financial and economic pressures to bear.
If IRAN gets crazy and represents a real and present damger, then bomb them into the stone age. But Please Uncle Sam, keep the biys home of off their turf. We got nothing to gain there.
This time, let Grat Britian, or France, or Germany, or Japan be the "World Savior". We need to let other countries do their share too, no need to hog the limelight.
A nuke in the wrong hands that gets deployed in an American city, or any city for that matter, is absolute worst case scenario. Emergency management folks can tell you that there are contingency plans for dealing with it if it happens, but the casualties would be unlike anything the world has seen since Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You think 9/11 changed the world? A nuke deployed would turn it upside down and shake it until all the life fell out. I don't really care as much about Iran's oil, though a blockade would take oil prices through the roof and kick our economy in the teeth again. BUT, I think Iran with the ability to build a nuke is just about the scariest thing I could imagine short of zombie apocalypse or an asteroid the size of Uranus heading towards Earth.
I'm not a war hawk. But, I've got a baby being born this week and I'd like for her to grow up in a world that isn't trying to rebuild from a nuclear holocaust prompted by some whackjob Iranian jihadist with a nuke. You can't tell me that there aren't those people, in Iran, who would love to go out with a bang of epic proportions against Israel or the USA. You trust that government to keep a nuke secure from terrorists? You trust that government at all?
We need to do all that we can to be proactive and not allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon. If that's diplomatic or covert or whatever based on our intelligence that supports it, great...just get it done. If I was the POTUS it would keep me awake at night.

Excellent response split.........Excellent Response........

Notice he said nothing about bombing them. Sorry, but that's just crazy talk. Now, if the DO try and carry out this bluff (which they won't), we need to sink a couple of their ships. That'll be enough to send them running with their tail between their legs. No need to take out innocent civilians.
