Anthony Davis is a MAN!!!!

This is the best UK team since the 1996 National Championship squad (which we will never see that many future Pro's on one team due to the one and dones). Davis is tons better than advertised. I think he is the best big man that has ever put on the Blue and White, better than Bowie, Turpin, Cousins, all of them. If he played 4 years he would own the rebounding and blocks records EASILY and in the top 3 in scoring. No question who the best Freshman in America is and the rest better watch out because he will get huge consideration for the Wooden Award

Kidd is a beast with a great all around game, Lamb is smooth and consistent, Miller is the silent assassin leader, Jones is Jones doing the same great start middle disappearing act and great finish to the year, Teague needs to play under control like the 2 nd half of the IU game Vargas and Wiltjer gives us just enough off the bench and with the versatility of everyone playing different positions, foul trouble to both Teague and Lamb in same game or combination of Kidd, miller, lamb, Teague where 3 of them are in foul trouble.

I just think this is the year to go from Elite 8 , Final 4 to Champions. David and Kidd are huge additions to this team. Trade Teague for John Wall and they would go undefeated.

Davis is a stud...the only problem is will play one year and be gone. Why continue to recruit those guys....no continuity in the program....freshman don't win championships. Well, besides Melo....and Davis is no Melo. UK has a nice team and will run roughshod through the SEC though.

Time will tell for sure entering into conference play will make or break these young lads. I'll take the talent any day. One and done has gotten us a lot farther in the past 2 years than some teams. Davis is just 16 blocks shy of single season record from what I read today.

I agree this team is heads above that 96 team. But I think their youth will be their demise in the tournament. Davis is a beast indeed and Kidd is awesome, Teague is another story..I think this kid needs at least 2 years in college, unless he's drafted on future play by an NBA team, which most young kids who need more polish receive.

Easy Clyde, I didn't say better than the 96 team I said since the 96 team. It will be a while before a College team is stacked with future NBA players like the 96 team. There will need to be a 2 year minimum or age minimum put in place before going pro or something like that to get a team stacked like the 96 squad. But as far as this year goes, from what I have seen playing across the country, I like the Big Blue's chances of bringing home #8.
