Nolin Spillway
Colder this am than yesterday fer sure nothing like the numbness in your frozen fingers. Launched boat at spillway thinking trout none found. Changed tactics and tied into 9 fat white bass. Worked our way down river to Green River didn't get a sniff. Did see a pair of bald eagles and located where they are nesting. Absolutely beautiful river this time of year.

If you would, let them know at KDFWR where you saw the nests. They are keeping a record of all nesting sites.

MCNP is eat up with eagles. I saw five individual birds on a short trip back in the fall. Two adults and three juveniles.
Spillway to green is quite a ways. Did you motor back up or take out at Houchins? How was the water clarity?

Been seeing a pair down there for about the past five tears. Always make at least one trip down there in the winter. Water was a bit murky at the spillway and didn't get a whole lot better down by the Green. We motored back up spillway I should say putted as I have dinged quite a few props in that stretch of water. Don't want to run to fast in that water. One really gorgeous in the winter.
