Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
Hey guys!
Haven't been on this board for quite a while, I wanted to invite anyone interested in fishing tournaments with commonwealth to join us. We are a relatively small club that fishes Nolin, Rough, Barren, Green, and Ky/Barkley. We are trying to increase our numbers a bit. It is a team tourney trail. Just a bunch of good guys that get along really well and have a lot of fun and competition. No big egos or anything. We meet the second tuesday of the month at the okolona VFW. On tournament months, we meet the tuesday prior to the tournament. If interested, Feel free to give me a call!

Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
What's the purpose of the meetings? What are the annual dues?
What are the normal entry fees per tournament?
I live in Highview, fish those lakes a lot, and am interested, but would like to know more.
Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
I too would like little more info, same as ART_CARNEY asked. I live in brooks and could be interested.
Thanks
Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
Hey guys. I'm also with Commonwealth Bass Club.
Tournament Fees are $60.00 per boat. That includes $5.00 big bass money and a portion of the rest goes towards the classic in October.
We always have an optional big bass pot as well for any fish over 5 lbs. that is $10.00 per boat.
We are having another meeting next tuesday 17th at 7:30pm at the Okolona VFW post 4205 Lambert Rd. off preston hwy behind the Moby ****. We are going to finalize our tournament schedule for 2012 and discuss other topics.
Feel free to come out if you are interested or give Myself or Dave Moeller a call for more info.

Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
So do you need to have a boat and a partner?

Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
Mike/Dave,
Post schedule once it is finalized. I(Jim Distler) now have a boat.
Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
It is a team thing, but many times our guys partners can't make it for some reason and they either get a sub to fish with them on their team or they sometimes fish by themselves. So, you don't have to have a partner to fish.
Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
Hey Jim! We will get schedule set tomorrow night and I will post on here!
What kind of boat did you get?
Re: Commonwealth Bass club Louisville
Got a R72 Ranger with 115 HP Johnson, but I am back on the water. Hopefully, Dave can fish some with me. Let me know what the schedule is, might be able to do some.
