4 Iranian Scientists in 2 years

Four Iranian scientists have been killed in the past two years...The United States claims no part in today's latest killing...of course Iran is pointing the finger at the US and Israel. We don't want Iran's nuclear program to exist.
1. Did we have anything to do with today's killing or any of the other four killings?
2. Is Israel behind all four killings or is the U.S. working with other countries in order to do whatever it takes at what ever means necessary to get rid of nuclear capabilities in Iran?
3. Is war with Iran just a matter of time or do you think once someone hits the "button", there's not going to be much left to have a war with?

I don't think we were directly involved. We might have known about it, though, and even given Israel the green light.

My money's on Israel. To me, this sounds like something the Mossad might do. And like the general in the article, I'm not shedding any tears.

I don't see war with Iran as inevitable. I think that, among rank-and-file Iranian citizens, there is a lot more pro-Western, and even pro-American, sentiment, than is obvious from news coverage. Maybe I'm being idealistic, but I think there's a chance that Arab Spring will reach Iran and a more democratic, USA-friendly government will be the eventual result.
Re: 4 Iranian Scientists in 2 years
Define "involved"....
The US was not involved in the sense that it could be pinned on us, but you can bet your ass that somebody somewhere in a dark room with no name knew about it. So did Israel. Who actually carried it out? Don't know, won't know, don't care.
I don't think a traditional war with Iran is inevitable. Some espionage to cap a few nuke scientists, sabatoge a few things, and keep them contained? YEP.

Re: 4 Iranian Scientists in 2 years
I've disliked Iran since the late 1970's when the took us hostage, took over our embassy there and so on...I think I was in the 11th grade at the time, maybe 12th grade, I can remember all classroom televisions were on the news channel during that time...all of our people being lead around blindfolded, put on display for the world to see like they were some sort of prized game or something.
It would be nice to see Iran just go away.

1. Yes.
2. Prolly Mossad agents doing it, but we are helping them. If we're not, we should be.
3. No. A conventional war with Iran would last maybe a week, if that. They'd only need to train their pilots to take off and use their parachutes, landing on the wheels wouldn't be happening. A single US carrier group would wipe out their Navy, and a single attack sub would finish the job. They know it and we know it.
