I am experiencing a problem with a critter over my garage possibly a racoon?
Does anyone know of a reliable, reputable as well as reasonable professional to deal with this creature before continuing damage is done?
I would certainly appreciate and accept any recommendation of indiviual one may know of offering such services!

Re: Need to get rid of critters
Are you sure it's racoons or could it be squirrels? We use a cage style animal trap that has a bait tray at the back of the inside. The animal has to step on the trigger before it can get to the food and the door slams shut. I paid $49 for mine and it's large enough to hold cats, small dogs, racoons, skunks, 'possums, etc. We have caught and relocated a lot of animals with our trap.
You may want to call your local animal control officer and see if they will lend you one of their traps; most of the time they are happy to help. Bait the trap with sardines or a small can of fish flavor cat food and place it close to their entrance or next to the garage. They can't resist the smell of fish.

I have shotgun.....and cabin fever...I'll help you out:D Just kidding!
Re: Need to get rid of critters
call the " turtle man " ......I would find where the critters are going in and out for food and water, and fasten a trap so when they come out you got them. and close the entrance so they can't return.
Re: Need to get rid of critters
Had a problem with coons in my attic. Used a wire trap and catfood to catch it. I set it one morning and when I got home it was trapped. Then I fixed the whole he came through and it's been fine.
Re: Need to get rid of critters
Call Billy the Exterminator. His family runs Vexcon and they are somewhere down in the south. They look like they can handle any annoying critters you have.:D I love their show.
