Laurel or Wood creek??

thinking about going Sunday, was wanting some info on Laurel or Wood Creek, water color, water temp, and any action that is going on, thanks in advance

Well we got blown off the lake(Dale Hollow) but it was a nice day. Had 3 pull downs on FNF with 2 hook-ups and both felt like nice fish but lost both. Ended up with 3 largeheads biggest at 5 pounds and lost a another one close to that size at the boat. They came on a wiggle wart in stained water in Illwill. Fished Sulphur, some main lake near Trooper Island, Fanny, and Illwill. Tried deep (18-30) with Football heads, regular casting jigs, swimbaits, Alabama rig, FNF, and the wiggle wart. Hope ya'll smoke this weekend Gary.

My buddy drew(flippindrew) had a good day last Sunday with 15-17 caught all on fb jig in 20-30ft of water on Dale. But,another buddy went to laurel and busted some good and had one over 7lbs,yes he did weigh it I think it was 7.9 or somethin. Caughtem on swimbait. Dales temps was 45-47 I believe he said around obey and wolf. I'll try and post the pic of the 7lber.

Seen FlippinDrews fish on BBC He smoked 'em. Those were some very nice fish!! A guide and his client reported on smalljaw (some pics on smalljaw) catchin some pigs on the Hammer swimbait down there in 20-30 feet of water they had over 20 fish in only 4 hours Sunday. FishinIsLife caught 15 or so I think he reported this weekend on livebait. Needless to say they are bitin well somedays but whether it was me or the fish, I coudn't get bit deep even in the areas where I could fish. Fellow needs to get down there, I may go back Saturday if it's not 25-35 MPH wind.

Hey guys i might try laurel this weekend. What was he catchin larg mouth or smallmouth? Also how deep was the fish? What was they on points, ? Thanks mike.
