Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
There is nothing that can be done. Looks like I will have to change my name to Luveatnasiancarp in a year or so.
I guess we could have carp tournaments when all the bass disappear.
Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
Are there any educated estimates for how long until they end up infecting Barren River & Nolin lakes?
This is really such a shame that this is happening.
Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
I would think there is a good chance they would not get in either of them. They will probably be in the tailwaters (if they are not already) but the only way I could see them getting into the lake is if someone inadvertently got them for bait while catching shad.

Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
They can't get in unless stocked if there is not a lock and **** system at the ****. ie barkley/ ky lake. I have an idea about havest let it become a sport like sporting clays. Let the guys in the boat use shotguns instead of bows......
Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
Why not simply build a huge processing plant and commercial fish them and turn them into fertilizer and protein for commercial feeds.
Re: KDFW Special meeting-Asian carp Harvest
Like the fertilizer idea.
Hey, do Asian Carp eat Parasites?
