I always used a Loop Knot for Jerkbaits and my topwater baits. I get more action with a Loop Knot

I thought those two knots were essentially the same?

Yes - the rapala knot will hold up fine with flourocarbon line. I use it with crankbaits and jerkbaits.
I have knot had a problem with the Rapala knot and flourocarbon line I have used it for four years.

I called a different knot I use the Rapala Knot but I looked it up on Animated Knots and you are right the Loop and Rapala are the same
