If we don't get that tree hugging, evironmentalist whacco out of office in Nov this country is doomed. He wants us to all buy toy electric cars and crap flowers and hug a squirrel, the man is a certified EPA freak.
OBAMA MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
ABO in 2012

Amazing huh? He and the party(LIBS) will now say the POTUS has no power to control the cost. Uhhh huh??? Back when he was trying to get elected Hillary, Pelosi and himself spouted off how they would get the rich texas oil man out of office and get the prices back to reality...anyone remember this?? Simple minded folks actually believed that Bush was sitting back with his calculator adding up his money by keeping prices high. Geez.. The GOP needs to shove that same message down the throats of the voters now!!! Truth means nothing in politics.
The potus and congress can manipulate the cost of energy but not by calling the (GAS STATION CZAR) and raising prices but by allowing us to tap our own resources. The gulf, alaska, new piplines and on and on is what we need. I'm pretty sure this potus has done more to hurt that stuff than help. All the stuff will come out as the election ramps up.
I agree that this walking turd has to go!
He is a walking Turd, a beautiful and fitting description...
His Energy Czar said we need European gas prices to curtail driving and cut our carbon foot print he is talking 8 to 10.00 bucks. This has been their plan all along green green green green agenda. We don't need it.

Gonna be interesting to see the spin in this from the royal family.
W and Cheney still calling the shots. Gas up 30 cents today. Where are the SUPER LIBERALS on this board?
My plan to reduce the impacts:
1. Fish Cumberland when the winds in the morning are out of the north, and out of the south at night. Leave from Jamestown.
2. My boat is already a hybrid, it has a trolling motor. Big engine to ramp in and out.
3. Tow vehicle gas paid for by blowing off the motel room and sleeping in the van or the boat. Higher gas prices end up killing the motel industry.
4. Stay the hell home and drink beer from money earned by renting my boat out to folks who can afford the gas.
5. Quit fishing, spend more on better cable TV, drink beer and watch fishing. With a DVR, no more getting up early, or getting rain soaker, or half frozen. DVR's don't need the lower unit oil changed, never need plugs, and don't get bent props.
6. To eat fish........Krogers or Long John Silvers.
7. Earn money by giving classes on the week nights on the plan above. Ride a bike to the class room.
What the heck are UPS, FEDEX, and USPS rates going to be like when the gas goes that high and they have to pay more? I can overcome the USPS hit with email. But how do you ship a sofa via Outlook?
TODAY: Example for a $5.99 Strike KingŪ KVD Square Bill Silent Crankbait - 2.5 - Sexy Ghost Minnow from Bass Pro.
Please select a shipping option:
$5.50 Standard
$12.50 3-Day Delivery
$17.50 2-Day Delivery
$25.50 1-Day Delivery
Now double gas prices and what do ya think shipping will cost? I couldn't avoid the shipping because I wouldn't be able to afford the gas to drive 90 miles round trip to Bass Pro in Indiana and back.
Last thought, with shipping that high because of high gas, every consumer good will go up. That will mean less retail sales, fewer jobs for retailers, and manufacturers, and a population with less money to buy cars, houses....you name it.
So overall, I think it's just a great idea. We can all sit at home with noting to do or buy and breathe better doing it. Or am I just cynical?
notice how everything has went to hell since gas first went up? it will start that crap all over again, but way worse

Dejavue again.............every time the economy picks up the slightest hint of recovery gas prices spoil it. If they approve a tax break, be sure it will be used up in higher gas prices.
Time to start pumping out the E85 big time.
I havent heard this weeks excuse for high gas. Are they using the old crude price excuse or the demand excuse or the refinery capacity excuse, or the summer mix formula excuse or the hurricane in the gulf excuse or the cold weather excuse?
It would be nice if they would just come out and say "we have an opportunity to soak up your $40.00 a week tax break savings and we decided to take it"

E85.......you're KIDDING, RIGHT.......
It gives you less fuel economy, steals from our foodsource, and COSTS more to manufacture than gasoline.
No......how about we open all of our drilling leases, and FLOOD the market with our oil. PUT OPEC out of business. After all they cannot eat their oil. Play on OUR playing field, or don't play.
And the reason is obvious.........Your and Ron Pauls' friend AmadinnaNUTJOB in Iran is practicing closing the strait of hormuz. That waterway ships 1/5 of the worlds oil. Without it, Oil markets collapse.
Future price of oil is reflecting this DIRECT action.......but hey, the United States has no interest in IRAN, right......It is NOT OUR BUSINESS, right.....
If it is not our business.....Stop complaining about oil prices.
Later,
