Louisville's new Police chief

So I watch the news last evening and they show the new Chief and say alot of the men and women really like him and he should be a good fit. Seemed to me like a good hire??

Then the news pans to the front row where all the Black leaders/preachers ect are sitting.
They ask the black leaders what they think of the new hire?

All of them were of the same opinion they were'nt happy about it.
Why you ask...Because they wanted a African American female to be chief...Why, just because they felt that is what the city should do, that they had come this far, why should we regress now......What?????

WTH.......I don't get this crap, why is it now all high end jobs are suppose to go to African American people, who the Hell made that rule. I thought it was suppose to be the BEST and most QUALIFIED person for the job....This kinda stuff really chaps my ass...

I "lol" because I have given up hope of common sense with Black Leaders and equal opportunity opinions. It's gone over the top with "white guilt". As a rule everyone has been beat down by the media to accept what the black community cries for as their right to certain positions. If the position was filled with the most qualified person then the Black leaders should shut their pie hole! If all rules were followed and nothing illegal took place then stop showing the ignorance, racial discrimination and close minded ways that they accuse others of.:mad:
BTW- I stand by this regardless of race. Hispanics, Asians, Indians or whoever cries foul when nothing is wrong needs to look in the mirror and view the real problem.

I have no problem with blacks in general...I have some co-workers who are black and we get along fine. No problems...I like them, talk to them about stuff happening outside of work, etc...good honest people like myself basically.

Now what really burns me up is when those rascals gather together on a job site to ask for employment...all black, most wearing hoodies, all being lead by some reverend with a loud voice, but not a single one of them wearing work boots!

I hadn't mentioned it yet but I was wondering if Whitney Houston's funeral got as much hype as it did mainly because she was black?

Don you didn't have to say you stand behind your idea regardless of race...although I agree with you, but the fact of the matter is the only race that acts this way is the black race. Wth the exception being a few years ago, I remember all the mexicans thought they would not work for one day, shut down all the mexican restaurants for one day, walk off the construction site for one day, etc...I think they were thinking it would be a hurting on the U.S. or something, not sure what their reasoning was.

Will see how the new Chief turns out. I will give him a fair chance, But.

I saw that as well Mark and just shook my head. That being said, on the news report I saw Christopher 2X was not one of those. He actuall said he met the new chief and liked him. My point here is this, I have met 2X on more than one occasion and always came away liking him. He doesn't act like those other "leaders" and he was the only one of the black leaders that came out and talked with the family and things like that and condemmed the criminals when the two white guys were shot by a black man during a drug deal down by one of those new hotels.

Fellas don't get me wrong, I in NO WAY am saying anything about hating black people or even going down that road. What Don said kinda sums it up for me. It doesn't matter what color you are if you are qualified or earn it.

What I'm saying is this We deserve it because mentality stuff just is not the way. It's ther entitlement thing that I don't get, why do some people think they should have the better jobs because they are of a certain ethnic race...???

Yea Tim he does seem to keep it right in the middle I have to give him some credit as well.
