Springtime Pattern
I was just wondering what everyone's favorite springtime was.....
My preference is a shad rap(#5 Shad, #7 Clown, or Perch in suspending model) and YUM Tube. This year I am going to try suspending jerkbaits in the clearer water sections. I generally fish Nolin and Rough River.

Re: Springtime Pattern
I like to throw spinnerbaits in the spring. Then in the summer I will switch it up with some more spinnerbaits, when fall comes I go back to spinnerbaits. In the winter I try to mix it up and really concentrate on the spinnerbait bite!

In early spring, I love to throw a craw-crank in bright red 5-7ft off of chunk rock banks...also love to throw a baby brush hog watermelon/red T-rigged around structure.

Model A Bomber crankbait, green crawfish pattern.

Jig, Tube and Shadrap. No secrets there.

Re: Springtime Pattern
Rattletrap on flats in early Spring, tube and jigs around the bank with wood or grass. Soft plastics like yum dingers, horny toads around shallow cover. All of these work for me in the Spring.
The lake/weather conditions dictate what I start with and what I continue to fish with. In Spring it's pretty easy fishing so I just sling away.:)
