I'm heading to Lake Talquin,Florida

I just got a call from Knute (the heathen) who was informed by his brother that the crappie bite is on at Lake Talquin.

Knute said, " I'll pick you up Sunday morning". We're both retired so no need to request vacation days and I have no doctor appointments or any other appointments for that matter.

Drive for a day,fish for a few days, drive back. It's about a 10 hour drive one way.

We went last year and yes they do have some nice fat crappie. I'll set my own "catch limit" of one so I can say I limited out each day!! ( Thanks to roadrunner for that idea :D ).

See you poor working stiffs when I get back. :p
