Boyle County Fishing
New to the area looking to find some places to fish. I am used to wading small rivers catching smallmouth and sauger. I know many of the rivers are adjacent to farm land so I was wondering if there were any public parts of the rivers around here. Also if there was a good area to fish from the banks.
Thank you I'll be out there.

Re: Boyle County Fishing
A lot of people access the Dix River at Rankins Bottom and fish from the bank. White bass are ready to run, so that might be a good place to start for now. Head out of Danville on 52 to Lancaster and turn left on Rankins road just prior to crossing bridge at county line. Follow the road back a ways. Youll see the cars pulled off to the side. Hope that helps.

Re: Boyle County Fishing
DALE HOLLOW LAKE!! haha if you want some genuine good smallies, hit up dale, its about an hour and a half away, that is my favorite lake in ky, we have a small cabin down on wisdom dock. For a little closer you can go to cedar creek, cedar has great bass but get there early because it is B.U.S.Y.
Good luck out there man.

Re: Boyle County Fishing
Thanks, I tried Cedar creek from the bank on Sunday had one break my spinnerbait off but that was my only bite. I only fished for about an hour so it was tough.
