Nolin Crappie
Anyone been in the past 2-3 days? Thinking about heading down for the weekend and wondering what they are doing. Assume they are moving shallow and the bite picking up.
Don't need any spots, just what the bite has been like and depth.
Appreciate any info in advance....THANKS!

Re: Nolin Crappie
i'd say the bite is pretty good right now. i haven't been to nolin crappie fishing but when i was bass fishing last weekend we caught a couple up shallow like 4 ft of water. just try to find some treetops or any other type of cover and i'd say you'll have good luck.

Re: Nolin Crappie
Water temps are in the upper 60's to low 70's. Lake level is 6 feet above winter pool. Crappie are in the trees and shallow. Mostly smaller fish the last 3 days. Pink and chartreuse grubs worked well on a 1/8 ounce head.
