Big surprise to me that he was fired over this....he deserved it but I am surprised. I just figured winning was gonna mean more to the AD than anything else.....looks as if I was wrong! Im willing to bet I'm not the only one who was caught off guard with this decision.
It does sound like he has been pissing these folks off and this was an opportunity to pay him back.

Thank Heavens some AD/Admin has some stones! Look at his track record. Everywhere he has been, he has lied to his boss. Don't know if it was the lying or hiring a "friendly" female staffer four days before the accident got him canned, but I do applaud Arkansas!

Spot on! I saw it the same way. There must have been something leading up to this.
