Laurel Lake Walleye
I am new to this thread and I hope someone can lend a little advice. I have been fishing Laurel since I was 8 and have ussually been pretty successful with rainbows. Lately I have seen an increasing numnber of daytime walleye fishers. does anyone have any knowlege they could lend for this. Not looking for honey holes or family secretes just a general overview to get started. I have two trips to laurel planned for May and would like to give it a try.

Re: Laurel Lake Walleye
Years ago we used to catch walleyes in Laurel Lake in around 15 to 20 ft of water using live nightcrawlers, weedless hook, and a slip sinker. This worked in the spring. They were in the wooded coves.

Re: Laurel Lake Walleye
fish for walleyes right now at night on laurel, the shad are spawning and you can catch them at night on top water baits. good luck.
