Patoka Report 4/28
my dad an I went out from about 10 am till 6 pm. caught around 60 crappie in 4-10 ft of water. threw a lot back, so many small ones. caught a few bluegills and 2 catfish. one was 6.5 lbs! .. got towards the evening and caught 5 bass on a buzzbait. biggest going 2.5 lbs which was good enough for me. overall a great day on the lake as i had never caught any bass on patoka surprisingly, water looked really good even thought it was way low.

Re: Patoka Report 4/28
The water clears up at Patoka when it doesn't rain. No rain means no sediement running into the lake like when it really rains a lot. So the water should be very clear when we go for long periods without a lot of rain. Last year we have over 11" of rain in April 2010. This year we have had some rain but not nearly that much.
Glad to see you have a good day.
