Fished today. Had to run up the lake to do any good. Caught 12. Nothing over 2lbs. Caught a few white bass also. Shad were right next to the shore.

Weekly tourneys that I know of are the Friday nighter out of Gwinn Island and a Thursday evening tourney out of Bryants Camp. There usually is one out of Pandora on Tuesday night but I'm not sure if they are still having it. I will fish the friday nighters out of Gwinns and they have already started, they start at 7pm EST and run until 1am. I've not even been on the lake but once this year but plan on starting next week. Usually crankbaits and plastic or jigs for post spawners during the evening and at night. I like sloping banks instead of bluffs right now.
Good luck,
Tim

Anyone can join, it's $10 membership each, and $50 per boat entry (I think this is right or at least close). You just have to show up at the main dock (You will see all the boats tied up) and get your membership, entry, and launch fee ($6) taken care of. Come on out and join us.

Yep, $50 each tourney every Friday night until Sept I think. They have a "fish off" in Sept in which the membership money as well as money (few dollars per boat from each tourney) holds over to the fish off. Usually the fish off pays well, we won it a couple of times and it paid $1000 plus (obviously according to how many boats there are participating throughout the year).
