Remember how sad I was a couple of years ago
To all you here that offered me encouragement when I was down because I found out my teenage daughter was pregnant, check out these photos of my 2-year-old grandson. Today in one hour he caught 6 bluegill and his first bass!

AWESOME. Doesn't matter how they come about really....they're all a blessing in the end.
Re: Remember how sad I was a couple of years ago
Thanks everyone, I had the funnest one hour of fishing in my entire 45 years today. The last three fish he actually hooked and fought on his own. I made the cast, handed him the rod and it was game on. Was very proud of how he kept that rod tip up and kept pressure on the fish.
In Kalamazoo, Michigan, KVD is looking at these photos and sweating!

There are no words to describe the emotions that I felt when I saw those pictures. My eyes started leaking as I thought about all your heartaches and how God turned them into love and joy. That is the cutest little guy; he already looks like a serious fisherman. Thanks for posting the pics.

Tim, that beautiful child has none of your DNA, thank God. How an ugly pug like you can have such a sweet looking grandchild defies the laws of genetics.
This thread has me both laughing and crying at the same time.
HAVE WEED-EATER: CAN TRAVEL
Re: Remember how sad I was a couple of years ago
sure is a fine looking fishing buddy to me, now that he knows where the fish live. teach him to swim as soon as possible.
Re: Remember how sad I was a couple of years ago
Great thread here Tipton...I remember when you were struggling with the thought of your daughter being pregnant a couple of years ago...and look at things now...Great pictures of the little one...some of the best times fishing are when you can take a youngin' like your's...the imagination they have is great! I took a youngin' to a farm pond a few years back...he told me the bluegill he caught he was gona take home to his mamma so she could fix "fish pie" of all things, lol....
