Cumberland Friday Tips Please
I am taking a short 4 day get away with the family this weekend and will be staying on a houseboat, Rented at State Dock also taking my Bass boat.
I already know it will be a mad house this weekend and plan on fishing Mostly at night for some Strips or Walleye, and maybe Crappie in the day light I know to use the Red fins and larger lures, but I bought a couple Yellow Bird Boards and plan to troll a little using Shiners and maybe an Umbrella Ring, any suggestions since I have not tried these tactics Thanks Dave.
If you are there and you see a Grey Xpress H16 stop and say Hi :D

i wouldnt worry about the planer boards too much, use your graph on mainlake points, when you find them on the graph drop downrods on them for 15-20 minutes, figure 8 over where you saw them, if no takers move on to the next point. the key is finding them, then put a bait in front fo them. not a big fan of the umbrella rig so i wont comment on that one.
good luck

Also check the edge of the mud lines formed by the boat traffic in late afternoon. The baitfish get messed up and the Stripers, walleye, Bass go on the feed. The north shore near the Dam is one such area.
