I love how the scout didn't want to be identified because his team may be drafting UK players...
I'll keep an open mind and say OK, maybe I could see the system being able to make someone out to be better than they are...a la hype, smoke, mirrors...but isn't that what a pro scouts job is to evaluate? Isn't that what combines and workouts are for?
The bottom line is that few one and done players are really prepared to go pro in one season of competitive division 1 ball...mentally. They are kids. I was a frickin moron my freshman year of college, and I didn't grow up in the hood.
One thing i never liked is an "anonomous" reporter. Put your name on it chicken. Arent coaches sippose to put players in positions where thet excel and limit the positions where they are weak?". He is 50% right, Teague needs another year but MKG can flat out playcdefense"
Calipari should be flattered. The article said The Kentucky system is smoke and mirrors.....hmmmm I guess thats the recipe for success?? I'm sorry but who doesn't know that basketball is a team sport? So his point was that a few players looked better than they really were? Really? Who knew that existed on any team? Man I'm glad this guy cleared that up!

The reporter is Larry Vaught from the Danville Advocate Messenger, it is the scout that is anonymous.
