Anybody have trouble with losing buddy bearings while pulling your boat? I have lost 3 since fishing season started. Any solutions to this problem?
I lost one last fall. By the time I got to the ramp, my bearings were shot/gone. Had to buy new hub/bearings, etc.

I have lost one or two. I had concluded they were stolen at the ramp. They were always a tight fit and hard to get out.

You might be running with bearings too loose. Jack up the axle and see if you can feel any play in the wheels. The cotter key can also push off buddy bearings if they can touch the inside of the buddy bearing. The hub end where the buddy bearing fits may be worn. you can install set screws to hold the buddy bearing on tightly.
Is it Buddy Bearings or Bearing Buddy's? LOL semantics! Bearing Buddy's makes more sense.
