Katie I can't think of anything I hate, Life is to short to go through it hating something. You will find that being happy is a personal choice and life is better when you are happy. There are things I do not like and if I can change them then I do if I can not change them then I try and not let them consume my daily thoughts or dwell on them. Be Happy
I think all Chevy and Toyota all make good products. I do have my favorite which happen to be a Chevrolet Suburban, they fit my need very well I just wish gas mileage was a little better however this is a something I have to accept if I buy a Suburban.
Can you explain why you hate these to brands a lot?
Katie I do not want you to think this is a put down and don't quit posting because of what I said it is great to have younger people post on here. This is just advice from an older person whom had to change his outlook from when he was young and my life really improved when I figured out that I could go through life happy. There are a lot of people who go through there whole life unhappy and it is a waste.
KEEP POSTING.
I own a 1995 Chevy pickup that I bought brand new. Love my Chevy! If I was to buy another full sized truck I would look very hard at Toyota and Dodge. Dodge makes a very nice truck.

alright lemme rephrase that guys i dont hate chevy & toyota but i put them below fords cause my dad works at ford and i do respects yalls opinions :D
I've had trucks by all three companies- and liked them all. I had more problems out of the Ford than the others - but I had it the longest. Honestly, I think I like toyotas the best - but that is my most recent - so I may be a little biased. They are all good if cared for properly - drive what you like and can afford.
My first truck was a Chevrolet. My second, third, and fourth trucks were Dodge. My fifth and sixth trucks have been Ford.
My Chevrolet had issues all the time and was at the dealer a lot. My Dodge trucks were fine, no major mechanical issues to speak of, and rode pretty good...wasn't particularly a fan of the gas mileage and the interiors. My Fords have been rock solid, no mechanical issues, smooth ride, great at towing, and better gas mileage...although I'm not a huge fan of the transmission in my current 2010 F150.
I haven't had a Toyota or a Nissan.
As much smack as gets talked about "Buying American" or one brand being better than another, I honestly think that they're all about the same.
I'm at a point in my life now where I realize that buying new trucks is dumb, especially every couple of years like I have done since I was out of high school. I'm sticking with my current Ford until the wheels fall off and the payments are done, whichever comes first. haha I do think Ford has had a great marketing strategy, puts out good products, and it was favorable that they didn't have to take a bailout from the government. I'm a Blue Oval fan.

I'm mostly a Ford guy, but I have had Chevy vehicles too.
I've also owned EXACTLY 1 foreign vehicle in my lifetime.
I will STICK to my Fords, and when necessary, I will purchase Chevy vehicles.
Details:
75 ford Mustang
87 ford EXP
78 chevy Monte Carlo
90 chevy Lumina
93 hyundai Sonata
93 ford excort wagon
93 ford ranger
97 ford windstar
97 ford f150
00 chevy cavalier (daughter 1)
00 chevy cavalier (daughter 2)
03 ford windstar
06 ford f150
07 chevy trailblazer
I've only owned one Ford, it was a 79 Thunderbird...and it was a goodin', little 302 in it, ran nice. I've never owned one of the imports...that's what I call Toyota, no matter where it's made it's still an import to me. I do understand they all make decent vehicles now days...just can't stand the thought of driving something the Japanese are getting rich off of...please don't bore me with how many jobs Toyota has created here, I understand all that too...just my own opinion is to heck with imports, except for Volkswagon, lol (hey it's America, I'm free to my opinion right?).
Chevrolet or Government Motors or whatever you want to call them is what I prefer...plus Chevy's have always looked better than "most" Fords or Dodge's with a few exceptions here and there, for instance, I would rather have one of those new Dodge Challengers anyday over the new Camaro. The last decent looking Ford in my opinion was the 96 model F150.
Since we're on the subject of vehicles...it seems to me that the Louisville police have been driving the same Ford Victoria's forever and a day....either the Victoria kept the same body style forever or the police have settled into the older models and just keep buying parts. Just curious as to how the local law enforcement is spending my tax dollars.

Katie I drove Fords for several years and switched to Chevy because of the local dealership problems I was having at Ford. I have had about five suburbans and I love them however I do not like the way Chevrolet was bailed out and I am impressed that Ford took no bail out that I am actually thinking of buying a Ford pick up I have heard very good things about them. Still have some issues with the local dealer.
