Ohio River near Warsaw, KY

looks like the company I am with will be doing some work near Warsaw in the next month or so. Since we generally stay near the worksite, through the week. Figured I might as well wet a line. Can anyone give me some useful info on fishing the Ohio from the bank near there (can't take my boat)? Good spots, good baits, generally just how I can catch a few fish (catfish) in the evenings rather than sit around the hotel. Just looking to have some fun really. Thanks in advance!

You might head on across IN to below Markland Dam. Plenty of bank area to fish there.

Like Andrew said,below Markland Dam on the Indiana side is a good place to bank fish,you can use your Ky Fishing License their as well with the reciprocal agreement with Indiana.Catch shad or skipjacks for live bait.

Try Craigs creek around the mouth and ramp areas. Right off of SR42, last creek on ky side before the dam.
