If your interested, our club has about 12 tournaments a year. Most are on KY Lake and Barkley Lake. Your more than welcome and come to a meeting and fish one of our tournaments to see if it is what your looking for in a tournament. We average about 8-10 boats on most tourneys but a few draw more members. Good luck on the water.

We actually have fished Rocky Point and Patoka this year. We are all residents in Evansville but accept members outside of Evansville. The way we schedule our tournaments is by club vote. Every member has a right to suggest lakes for the up coming season. We vote on them. We have fished Patoka, Monroe, Mt Vernon, and West Baden in the past. We fish the IBF Top 8 which is always in Indiana. I will admit we are partial to KY Lake and Barkley. It takes as long to get to Patoka as it does Mineral Mounds and you don't have to purchase an additional ramp sticker for your boat. If you would like more info stop by one of our meetings. Trust me they are informal and short but could be beneficial with lake info. Good luck on the water.

If you are interested in an "open" nite tournament, the Speedway 500 Bassmasters are hosting a nite tournament at Geist Reservoir this Sat ( july 21) from midnite Sat to 9am Sunday. Entry is $70 ( include big bass but does not include the ramp fee). For an e-mail entry form e-mail Steve at .

Ok but why not fish locally. Say for instance newburgh evansville or dogtown or even henderson. Might gather more members and also have more tourneys

We have thought about it and those areas get voted on like any other. However, the majority of the votes go for KY or Barkley. We still do fish out of Mt Vernon, Deer Creek, and even have went out of Angel Mounds. The locality is totally up to the members. What we find is people don't check out the club or even join if those areas are listed so there is another barrier that keeps people from joining. Unlike other tournaments, we share our information. This hopefully allows members to increase their awareness and skills on the water.
