actually I don't think this is all that new, and Cantor has been working on it for a while.
Still, I'm glad to see Pubs working on this, and they will hold Democrats accountable BEFORE the November election. They will have to VOTE on this with the definitions of TAXES as outlined by the supreme court.
Me thinks it will DIE on the vine.

Ok after reading that a few things came to mind.
1) seniors better vote against this party for pushing this on us. Medicare getting cut? It flat pisses me off to the highest order that as a country we want to give free healthcare to young capable illegals, habitual drug addicts and folks that quite frankly are leeches on the system. Now a person who either served their country or played within the rules of the system are getting shafted just because they are old?? Let's face it when your older things break down and you need more medical help. Why are the political idiots attacking older folks? We are all gonna be there(god willing) and we deserve to have affordable healthcare when your on a fixed income. I don't have the answer with regards to Medicare and this obamacare but what in the world were they thinking???
2) not sure about the $1200 increase thing? I did not see that increase or anywhere close to that. Maybe they are talking about private insurance?
3) I would like to know what these 12 new taxes are gonna be on families.
4) I'm still 100% dead against any additional gubment intrusion into my life! They are not capable of running this and in fact when the dems admitted they didn't even know what the bill included and just wanted it passed proved to me they are full of crapp!
5) there is no way that 7 pages can contain all the problems in the law. How much crap is in there that would really piss folks off?? Even dems!!! This is crapp and just another reason I cannot stand our potus.
The only chance that Obamacare will be repealed is if the Repubs take the presidency and control of the House and Senate,doubtful that will happen.
Thanks to that pos (that doesn't stand for president of either) Obama ,the VA Hospital's are now refusing to treat elderly Veterans who draw above the poverty level,My Dad is a WWII veteran who after years of never needing any healthcare at all,at age 86 is being told that the VA Hospital in Cincinnati won't help him because he draws more than $13000 a year.The elderly death squads are happening now thanks to Obama's heathcare reform.

I don't think so.
* Republicans already have the house. We will probably not lose it.
* Republicans have a real good chance of picking up a few votes in the senate, because it was sold as a penalty not a tax. I don't know a single democrat in a battleground state who is TIED or behind, that is going to vote this a a tax. Period.
* To repeal it, since this is under the taxing authority of the constitution, it only takes a [B]simple majority [/B] In the senate to repeal it. THAT is almost guaranteed. There are already a couple democrats on board with the repeal.
* If it is not repealed, there is a huge chance the house and senate will be in republican hands come November. And once that happens, Obama will be Lame Duck and for at least the first 2 years, we will bitch slap him like Gingrich bitch slapped Clinton.........
Don't forget, Obama's legacy will be in jeopardy and he is a vain and pompous mother, just like every one of them. Who remembers **** about what Clinton accomplished. All we know is he got a BJ in the oval office. He did a hell of a lot more than that. If Obama's legacy (Health Care) goes down the tube, he will everything possible to generate some kind of legacy.........even if that means working with those evil republicans.
