With the rain, and storms, whas happening at da falls? Anybody been between the squalls?
Water is supposed to peak at 13ft sunday. Have not been down, but thats when the fish start to move up toward the dam again typically.

Hey Bob,,Tyme and I went last night,,called yesterday at 12,,said 4 ft on the lower gates and 1 on the upper. Just the right level and water,,I hadn`t been fishing since last Sept and was realy excited to get out. We as always the corps found out i was coming and when we got there all 4 gates was WIDE OPEN! couldn`t get near them. So I was driving Tymes boat and I went thru the 4 ft waves and went up to the upper dam..allllll kinds of big head carp up there,,some was huge!,,We watched their big tails come out of the water,,wish we could bow hunt them things up there,,bet it be fun to shoot one with a bow thats over 40 lbs,,threw the cast net for shad,,all i got was 2 channel cats in the net,,so we went back down behind the hydros and caught some skippys and drifted them,,Tyme thought he was hung up and asked me to back up,,yeah he was hung up alright,,hung up on a nice 9lb stripers face!,,i was useing one of those rigs Tyme had to fish for skippys with and was catching small skippys 3-6 at a time,,well I would let them stay on the hook and keep them alive over the side of the boat, and was joking about a striper coming along and nailing one,,,well it did happen,,all of a sudden my pole took off and if the reel hadn`t stuck on the side of the boat it be gone! I grabbed the pole and it broke the rig in half,,,all I could do was look at Tyme and laugh my ass off...but had a ball..enjoyed the trip..
