Akin's lame apology
This fellow is just out of touch with reality!
He he saying that he misspoke one word in one sentance.
Just which word was it? Legitimate? rape? shutdown?
So do you think he still thinks the world is flat?
I don't think there is any such thing as a legitimate rape.
Nature does not provide a mechanism to shut down the reproductive system on demand.
What is scarry is that this fellow is a product of American biology classes in school.
Then we have Ryan saying that he supports privitizing medicare, but for election purposses he is 100% behind Romneys medicare paln (who knows what?) and will remain committed to the romney paln iuntill the election is over.

Who cares what he said? He said it, it's in the past and 99.9% of Americans SHOULD know it was a bonehead comment. I say fire him on the spot TODAY and let's discuss more important things, like what is Obama's plans for this country in the next four years should he get re-elected.

His apology is not only lame, it's a LIE. He didn't misspeak; he meant every word he said. You have only to look at his history to see that. Or at his "clarification," where he said that when he used the term "legitimate rape" he was referring to how women make false claims to obtain abortions.
The wave of scorn being directed at him from his own party, top to bottom, is unprecedented. And now that he's defied everyone's calls to drop out of the race, this is NOT going to just go away. I mean really, do you think the Democrats are going to let that happen? The way this campaign has been run so far (by BOTH sides)? No way. They are going to portray Akin and Ryan as bosom buddies, and both as radical ideologues. I'm not saying it's right, just predicting what I think will happen.

Makes me question how many women are actually swayed by his comments? I'm sure there is a stat out there that shows how many Pro Life women there are and how many Pro Choice but then you toss in how many are Independant, Dem or GOP and it gets lost.....to me that is.
i guess I remember how the comment by Chic-Fil-A seemed like a Major group of Americans were outraged and gonna make a stand on the awful mean Christians. When in fact the Gay population is small but the media made it out as an uprising of biblical proportions.
I think that fool Akin is a disgrace to any political party and to any man who breathes so I don't approve of him. Leto be fair there are alot of idiots in politics and Akin just adds to the masses.
No doubt this will hurt the GOP in some way but heck it's politics. The opinion polls swing left and right so in the scheme of things its just another idiototic moment but i think it's about time for Biden to wake up from his slumber and start speaking so we will be talking about that TOOL shortly.
