I use a much smaller leadhead These are 1/8 oz heads, with a wide gap hook. I put my own hardware on them. These should do the trick.....Much lighter and just as effective :)

I've not thrown it too much but I did stick fish last year on it.
I only use it when I know they are active. When they are slow, I have much better, and more effective presentations.
I have a couple "magic" areas that are dying to see my Bama.
