Went to Nolin fishing Sunday, talked to a fellow fisherman in the parking lot. He said a friend of his got a ticket for putting Tournament fliers on trucks in the lot. I've been fishing tournaments for over 30 years and no tellin how many fliers I've gotten and this is the first I've ever heard of such a law. I guess it is a law if they wright tickets. He said the game warden called him from the phone no. on the flier, got his address and sent him a ticket. Can anyone shed any light on this.
I wouldnt think he would get a ticket for handing out the fliers. However I do believe that all fishing tournaments are supposed to be registered with KYFw and if the Game Warden researched the date and the individual hadnt registered the tournament with KYFW then he possibly could have been written a ticket for that but that is mere speculation but just look it up on [URL="http://www.kyafield.com"]www.kyafield.com[/URL]

I dont think you have to regester with them anymore unless it is going to be over 100 boats. He may have wrote it for Littering.
They want everyone to register so they can keep down overflow of Tournaments at one ramp. The Corp at Barren and Rough are going as far as if you use a Corp Ramp you have to get a event permit from them. If you dont have one and you are checked running a Tournament you can be fined. Always Check in with KDFW and Corp Office to cover your Butt.
