Just to save some typing and time in responding to Pm's and emails, maybe this way is better. I went to the hospital Saturday morning because I knew I had busted another hernia. After a CT scan and some poking, prodding and pressing it was determined that I had an impacted hernia that was on the verge of rupturing and needed immediate emergency surgery. On the Slab at 11 and the operation took 5 1/2 hours total. IV in both arms, Deep Line IV in neck, cathedar, wound vac and breathiñg tube down nose and surgery was over. Started removing all they had put in late Monday and got to come home late Afternoon Tuesday for the best Christmas present this year. We will get by because we always do. It will be a little more difficult this time since I have custody of my 23 month old Grandbaby and can't pick her up for 8 weeks. Thanks for all the inquiries. Hope this answers those that I have not gotten in touch with as of yet

Thanks Mark. It's all good. 2 years in a row Surgery on Dec 22 and Christmas Morning with the kids spent at UK Hospital. But at least I got to come home late afternoon Christmas Day. It's all good. I made it a full year between surgeries but a few milestones were crossed, 30th surgery and 702 days in the hospital.

I get on here from time to time, to see what everyone is complaining about, and I have thought about you, and hadn't seen any post on here from you. I liked reading your fnf post. always thought you were kinda crazy, for wanting an arctic blast to drop down on us, when we were having such nice weather. but it's good to see you posting on here again, would have been better to see you posting a fnf trip report, other than you being sick, I will pray for you and your family, and you do the same. the little one will be glad you are there, even if your not able to lift her for a while. remember my friend, all things are possible with God.
