Cherokee multi species report
My buddy and I fished Cherokee Lake in TN over the New Years. The first day we fished Norris Lake for a couple of hours and found birds dipping. We both had Flitterbaits tied on and on my third cast I set the hook on a small striper.

We only had a couple hours before dark but the birds kept working and we just chased them around. Todd was able to hook three but only landed one. You can't horse them! Here's one he got in the boat.

We went to Cherokee Lake the next morning and found birds working. We met our friend Ezell there and we found some fish. Flitterbaits jigged off the bottom was the ticket.

It rained on us one day but we still caught fish.

The day after the rain, we had overcast skies and a little wind. We found birds circling right out in front of the boat ramp and started catching fish on our Flitterbaits.

The last day we fished around some new friends that we met out on the water who had found a huge school of stripers and hybrids. The fish were right on the bottom so the lift drop with our Flitterbaits was the ticket.

This is just some of the fish we caught. I must say that this was one of the best "catching" fishing trips I've been on. All our fish were caught on Flitterbaits except for one big smallmouth caught on a hair jig and a nice walleye caught on a Gizz 3 at night. Can't wait to go back in March!
