I'm thinking of going tomorrow, but not sure how the back-roads and ramp will be. Any ideas? I don't want to tow the boat down and turn around and go back....if I CAN even turn around.

I was thinking today would be an awesome day for float and fly, but I am stuck at work. Let us know how you do.

I thought you were actually on LC today.......that would have lead to some very interesting negotiating those slipper ramps this morning.
I have a buddy that went to Dale yesterday instead of this morning to miss the weather........I wonder how he did.
Later,
Geo

Decided not to go tomorrow due to the road conditions. Wish I could find someone to go with on Saturday. You wouldn't want to go to LC on Sunday, would you George?

I will go. Forget the weather. Don't even look at the forecast. Get up, load the boat and point the truck towards Cumberland or Dale and don't look back. So a little snow and ice hit the ground, YIPPEE BRING AS MUCH AS YOU GOT. Let it rip snow and ice all day long. There will be a time when you absolutely want to go fishing but you can't get there. Trust me I am an expert on that topic. All I can do is sit here and wish. Forget the forecast and get in the truck. The best time for it to snow a foot is WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BOAT FISHING!! No honey do list, no jet ski, no houseboat. Just you, FNF rod, Smallmouth infested water and all the time in the world, no place to be and even you did have a place to be can't get out. My kind of day
