Just wondering if anybody has been and is it worth driving 2 hours to go. Any tackle dealers and if so and deals to be had.

It beats sitting at home and you get to see guys you only see duting fishing season....
I absolutley wouldn't. I went to it 2 years in a row. The second time was because I heard it was supposed to have changed for the better & going to be a good one this year, but I just didn't see where Jewelry store items & home secutity systems had anything at all to do with fishing or the outdoors period. Same case both years was that there were way more booths setup there that had absolutley nothing to do with fishing than there were fishing or outdoor booth. Worst fishing show I've ever been to in my life. If it really would make a good serious change to outdoor items I would go & would purchase outdoor items from it every year, but unless fellow fishermen can say that it's allright nowadays I wouldn't go at all & I love going to decent ones & do. Cabin fever gets to me pretty badly, but I'll skip this one until fellow fishermen say it greatly improved.

Drive to my place, and go to the Indy show with me..........I have 4-5 going..........and it is ALWAYS a good show.
When is that Geo?
I don't live that far away but refuse to pay the door prices that Lexington center demands to get in. Unless you are really in the market for a boat I don't thing it's worth it. The tackle dealers and the pros are great, but there are too few of them there to make it worth if for me.
:(

Same here. I know what I want anyway with tackle so I stop in and buy it when I need to. I'm not ready to buy another boat so no need to go. I have many things to do besides spending money at a place like that. I wish the tackle shops and boat dealers I frequent the best of luck while they are there!
