Just bought a 4 0z Jar and when I dipped, the dye isnt any good. Was going to take it back but the bait shop had already closed. Has anyone ever had this happen? If so, how can I get the dye to mix?

if youre talking about the garlic dye i've never seen it not work.....not saying that you couldn't have gotten a bad bottle of it,....i really like that stuff, use it on occassion to tip my jig trailors....and depending on the color of the bait you may not even be able to tell much difference in color...myself i like it for the scent factor moreso than trying to create a contrast in bait color.....what were you using it on?
I always like to dye the tips of my trailors with a little chartreuse. Normaly use a color marker which works really good. This is does not have any garlic just dye. When I shake to bottle you can see color on the bottle top. When I dipped the Green Pumpin, cannot see any difference in or out of the water.

It does go bad.
Are you sure the baits will take dye. I know some swimbaits will not.
